Every Sunday of Sawan, there is a rush of trains and buses at various stations of Saharsa-Mansi railway section. But the maximum crowd is seen at Simri Bakhtiyarpur station. The situation is such that the crowd starts gathering waiting for the train from eight in the morning. Platform numbers one to two are filled with Dakbams till ten o’clock. Besides, postal bombs also sit on the tracks. But the surprising thing is that despite having prior information about the crowd, the Railways does not make any arrangements regarding security.

Two RPF jawans also come from 05221 at the time when the crowd of devotees is about to board the train. Keeping only two soldiers for such a huge crowd shows the inadequacy of the Railways. Dakbams keep crossing the tracks unhindered throughout the day and trains come and go. But everything is going on waiting for the accident.
