Simri Bakhtiyarpur (Saharsa) Villagers have filed an application in the name of the Divisional Commissioner regarding irregularities in the construction of crop protection dam under the MNREGA scheme in Kopariya of Kopariya Panchayat of Salkhua block, demanding investigation and appropriate action. Villagers have alleged that Rs 6 lakh was withdrawn in the name of crop protection dam without getting the work done.
In the application given to the Commissioner, villagers Narendra Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Ajit Kumar, Raj Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Pintu Kumar Munna, Jitendra Kumar, Dinesh Yadav etc. said in the signed application that the Panchayat Committee of Part 1 or 2 of Kopariya Panchayat under Salkhua block. Member cum Deputy Head of Babulal Yadav MandalThe scheme implemented by MNREGA under Kopariya is the construction work of crop protection kutcha dam from Chakradhar Yadav’s Vasa to Babulal Yadav’s farm under Kopariya.
Whose work code is FP/20360525 and its estimated amount is Rs 8,89,692. More than Rs 6 lakh was withdrawn without any work being done on this scheme. Even before five years of this scheme were completed, the estimated amount of the scheme was withdrawn again. While this is a road, money has been withdrawn in the past in the name of the road.
At present, the villagers have accused the villagers of withdrawing government funds without getting the work done in the name of crop protection dam in place of the road.
