On Saturday, SDPO Alok Kumar told a press conference that on August 1, a 45-year-old farmer Madan Yadav was murdered by miscreants in Navtolia Ward No. 15 of Patarghat police station area in a land dispute in front of his wife Phool Devi. . A case was registered regarding this in Patarghat police station.
A SIT team was formed on the instructions of SP Himanshu Kumar regarding the matter. The team has arrested Rakesh Yadav, Brahmanand Yadav, Jaikrishna Yadav involved in the incident. When a raid was conducted at the house of accused Ashok Yadav in connection with the case, a country-made pistol was recovered.
SDPO said that investigation was done at the incident site under his leadership and another team under the leadership of Head Quarter DSP reached Sadar Hospital and was doing investigation.
In this sequence it was revealed that there was a dispute regarding land between Madan Yadav and Ashok Yadav. Due to this, Madan Yadav was shot dead. Help of FSL team, dog squad and technical research was also taken in the matter. Three accused have been arrested in this. While raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused.
